The fifth day of the fifth lunar month is a traditional festival in Chinese folklore known as the Loong Boat Festival, which is one of the oldest traditional festivals of the Chinese nation. Also known as Duanwu, the Loong Boat Festival has been a traditional custom in China for over two thousand years. Due to the vast territory and numerous ethnic groups, coupled with many stories and legends, not only have various different names for the festival emerged, but there are also diverse customs across different regions. One of these customs is eating Zongzi.
